Willamette Valley Vineyards 2019 Whole Cluster Pinot Noir Oregon
The stylistic vision of this wine is to capture pure Pinot Noir fruit with beautiful depth and structure through whole cluster fermentation and carbonic maceration. The vineyards for this wine are chosen to complement this unique style of wine. The whole grape clusters are gently conveyed into stainless steel tanks, where a process known as “carbonic maceration” occurs. While the process is technical, it essentially means that the wine will be particularly juicy and fresh. Imagine rich red fruits: strawberries, cherries, and açaĂ. This wine has that and more mingling in the glass. We love it as an easy-drinking Pinot to pop open when we are feeling festive. It’s a real crowd-pleaser of a wine.
NOTE: This is NOT a Firstleaf Exclusive wine.
