Threaded Tale 2018 Cabernet Franc Lodi, California

Threaded Tale 2018 Cabernet Franc Lodi, California

Before he founded Alexis George Wines (Alexis and George being the middle names of his two children), George Brown spent more than 30 years in the food and beverage industry. And to say he worked his way up would be an understatement: at the age of 15, George took a job washing dishes at a mall an hour away from his native South Philadelphia. Commuting two hours a day by Greyhound bus, George learned grit and determination and became committed to giving back to his community. After graduating from Howard University, George began his decades-long career in the food and beverage industry before founding Lodi-based Alexis George Wines. A portion of the proceeds from every bottle George produces helps fund scholarships and mentorship programs to support youth in underserved communities. But you're not just giving back when you open a bottle of this Cabernet Franc — you're getting an incredible wine that pairs well with everything from lighter fare to heartier meals. We can all drink to that! Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
