Our newest 2020 vintage is a product of the same time-tested vines, impeccable terroir, and meticulous winemaking practices. The Pays d’Oc region is inland from the coastline in Southwest France and experiences a moderate Mediterranean climate with hot, dry days and cooling coastal influences. These factors allow Grenache Blanc, a somewhat fussy grape primarily known for its role as a blender in the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape blend, to thrive. When highlighted on its own, this varietal is fresh and bright. For this particular wine, our winemaking partners harvested fruit from low-yielding vines. This resulted in an impeccable concentration of varietal flavors and allowed for this wine to become a stunning representation of what can happen when everything goes just right.
