Impress 2017 Petit Verdot California
Traditionally Petit Verdot is used alongside other grapes, it’s a native of Bordeaux that has a beautiful deep color, full tannins, and aromas of fruit and violets. We felt that this particular wine deserved its own time to shine, and that’s why we are bringing the single varietal Petit Verdot to the club. The Impress will leave you wanting more. With full fruit flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant, and blackberry mingling with vanilla and baking spice, this is a perfect wine to pair with food. We would recommend rosemary lamb chops, aged cheeses, and roasted mushrooms. Judges love it too! It took home a Silver medal at the 2019 Harvest Challenge.
