Dita Akello 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Australia

Dita Akello 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Australia

The Dita Akello Cabernet Sauvignon is a brooding, dark, and complex Australian wine. With hints of minty fruit, a hallmark of Australian Cabernet, balanced by notes of cigar box and spice from a year in barrel, this is a wine to savor. The fruit jumps onto the palate, fresh notes of cassis and red currants dance around the darker and more brooding characteristics. The combination of focused fruit and herbal nuance complement a whole host of pairings. We’ve tried it with a lot of classic red wine pairings and found it does best with juicy meat dishes, think steaks, herbed pork, and even cheeseburgers. Judges love it too! It took home a Silver medal at the 2018 Harvest Challenge.
